Drinking the Universe, TIME Sake Cup Set
DESCRIPTION
DESCRIPTION
A new work in the Swallowing the Cosmos series. A concept born from the image of swallowing the cosmos into one's body. Its form evokes the story of the universe from the Big Bang to the present. The translucent cosmos glows a pale blue when set against a black background. Imagine pouring in and swallowing the universe.

In this work, the trace lines that appear when glass is layered and wound from the furnace can be seen running through it like lines.
The color is achieved by vaporizing and fusing a special metal — a technique that appears in nearly all of this artist's space-themed works.
I hope you can enjoy this as both a phenomenon of glass and a phenomenon of the universe.
