Red Staircase

A work from the Walking series. (Although it's seated.)
Walking = Movement
People are creatures drawn to bonfires, films, and things that move.
So, by adding legs to my own work, I bring out a sense of humanity and of being a living creature,
It was born through the creation of movement.
An unknown creature crawling up the rim — this is motifed on a sea slug.
Surely this mysterious creature, too, climbed up using the red stairs.

Each piece is delivered in its own paulownia box.
