Oribe Flower Vase

Oribe is a technique in which copper turns the ash glaze green. Firing it in an anagama kiln produces ash-glaze kiln transformations, bringing out scorched tones and turquoise blue — it is full of points of interest. Hand-formed, this is a small flower vase in a meiping (meipin) shape with a narrow mouth.
