Oribe Flower Vase

Oribe is a technique in which copper produces a green hue within an ash glaze; firing in an anagama kiln induces ash-glaze transformations, yielding scorch marks and turquoise-blue tones—there is much to admire. Hand-formed, this is a large sutra-case-shaped flower vase.
