Oribe Flower Vase

Oribe is a technique in which copper turns the ash glaze green; firing in an anagama kiln produces ash-glaze kiln transformations, bringing out scorched tones and turquoise blue — full of points of interest. Hand-formed, a spherical vase with a mouth cut into a complex shape, to be enjoyed by turning and viewing from different angles.
