This work is themed around 'time.'

This work, a fist sunk into a jar, captures the moment a character is struck, its cheek caving in with a rubbery dent. It evokes a single frame of stop-motion animation, in which an object's shape is changed little by little and photographed.

A work that attempts to fix, in near-permanence, a single instant of stopped time — passed through the "process" of drying and firing that is, itself, a form of "time."
