Madder Shino Tea Bowl

Fired slowly for five days in an anagama kiln, then cooled for a week before being taken out.
The Shino glaze, showing strong crimson tones, has the vivid madder-red hue of a sunset.
There is also much to appreciate, from its chewy, yuzu-peel-like texture to the rich character of hyakusode clay.
