A fleeting drawing made to hold a momentary impression or memory is gently fixed in place using lacquer, a material that carries within it a vast span of time. I hope to convey the preciousness of the present moment, clothed in all the time that has been spun together to reach it.

Water flows, splashes, and falls again.
Aimed for a form that seems to let you hear that very sound.
