Furidashi, Marbled Glass

A furidashi (sweets container) of pink-kneaded porcelain clay wrapped in a matching pink glass glaze.
Named by combining “neri” from neriage (marbled clay) with “hari,” the old word for glass.
The sedge lid uses corn husks specially dyed pink and gray and custom-fitted to match.
If storing it in a tea chest, it can be cut at your preferred point to lower its height.
