Gold-Accented Black Clay Sake Cup

Envisioned around the beautiful curves and forms of seeds and fruit created by nature. Chamotte was mixed into the porcelain clay for a rough, textured finish, then coated with gosu (cobalt blue) and platinum before firing. Made as a chanoyu tea bowl, with attention paid to its front and its drinking edge.
