Fired slowly for five days in an anagama kiln, then cooled for a full week before being taken out. Though small, it is packed with points of interest — a yuzu-peel-like texture, and a mouse-gray tone where the iron glaze has developed color over the whole surface. Its plump, rounded form is charming, a piece to enjoy rolling in the palm of one's hand.
