Madder Shino Tea Bowl

Fired slowly for five days in an anagama kiln, then cooled for a week before being taken out. The Shino glaze shows a strong scarlet flush, a vivid madder red like a sunset. It is also packed with other points of interest — a soft, mochi-like yuzu-peel texture and richly expressive Momokusa clay.
