A fleeting drawing made to capture a momentary impression or memory is softly fixed in place using lacquer, a material that carries within it a vast span of time.
I hope to convey the preciousness of the present moment, wrapped in the time that has been spun to reach it.

Most things with form that are visible to our eyes have an outline.
Being conscious of touching that boundary, or of not touching it, lets you sense not merely that something is there, but that it carries an atmosphere all its own.
