Sake Cup, Crimson Kase

When making a sake cup, I make it with the mindset of a small tea bowl.
A slightly raised foot carved to resemble a bamboo joint.
A form that gracefully spreads outward.
Rhythmic throwing marks and a tightly finished rim.
A sake cup in beni-kase (red kase) glaze, made with the same mindset as shaping an Ido-style tea bowl.
