10^-x m, Where Are You? 002

Taking the mathematical notation of "powers of ten", used to express astronomical scale, as a starting point, this piece gives form to the image of surveying one's own position within the natural world by imagining subdivision down to the smallest units. It journeys through inner space, from a single cell at the 10^-5 scale (10 microns) to DNA, atoms, the atomic nucleus, and down to elementary particles at 10^-15 meters (one fermi) — subdivided ever further, yet connected by the same substance as the cosmos itself.
