A work that develops "Geppaku-yu Nagashi", the signature style of the 16th-generation Housai. It reinterprets "kirei-sabi" for the present day, creating harmony while contrasting "kirei" (refined beauty) with "sabi" (rustic patina). The vivid blue of the geppaku glaze paired with gold decoration brings further brilliance, and the gold itself changes texture over time, letting "kirei" and "sabi" coexist. A white slip brings harmony against the primitive clay texture.
