DESCRIPTION
DESCRIPTION
Thin plaster boards with corners cut at 45 degrees are laid out one by one in a regular pattern, then assembled tier by tier so that the space of a "tea bowl" rises up.
Porcelain slip is poured into the space formed by the assembled plaster boards; once the mold is removed, the shape of the tea bowl is complete.
This tea bowl is shaped as a soft spiral built from straight-line elements.
It is also conceived with a hard, architectural texture unlike the usual image of ceramics.
