Ogura Shino Sake Cup

Fired slowly for five days in an anagama kiln, then cooled for a week before being taken out.
When a highly transparent Shino glaze is applied over an ohaguro (iron-oxide) coating, it takes on a glossy, red-bean color.
There is also much to appreciate, from its chewy, yuzu-peel-like texture to the rich character of hyakusode clay.
