This work updates the tiger-shaped form from Koga's signature Hoyoroi Cup series, a series of wearable vessels.
This embodies the image of a tiger baring its mouth in a threatening pose, while also incorporating human elements into the tiger, and was named the 'man-tiger form.'

Chanoyu, Japan's comprehensive art form, developed as a cultivated pursuit of the samurai class.
Sake vessels developed as kaiseki tableware within that same lineage.
A work expressed as art, drawing together the respective histories of the tea ceremony, Sengoku-era warlords, and craft.
Koga sees the present as an age of gekokujō. Even now, when the future is uncertain, one can rise above the rest regardless of origin, given the will and resolve to forge a new era.
Taking as its motif the hoyoroi (cheek armor), an intimidating piece of armor worn by Sengoku-era warlords in battle, this expresses a person's way of life and spirit.
This piece carries a cheer of encouragement for today's high-aspiring warriors.
