Incense Burner, Neriage

An incense burner made by kneading pink-tinted clay into porcelain clay.
A highlight is the marbled pattern rising from the base that fades away partway up; the upper part of the body and the lid are pure white.
Carving that emphasizes a lobed (rinka) form at the foot and rim gives the piece a sharp shape befitting porcelain clay.
