The theme is the fusion of street culture and Arita ware.Yuki InoueA new work is now available.

Dripping series uses a technique called "glaze drop". This technique uses a brush full of glaze and lets it drip, creating a pattern that emerges by accident, evoking the atmosphere of graffiti art.

This is an attempt to fuse the spirit of street culture into Arita ware while inheriting the direction of Inoue Manigama, which specializes in expressions that bring out the inherent beauty of porcelain. Street culture has the strength to overcome adversity. Inoue admires the hungry spirit and rebellious spirit that drive this.

This work is a new work that boldly advances the strength of brush strokes and color variations of the previous Dripping series. It is composed of three colors: black, white, and lapis lazuli, and is the first attempt to combine multiple colors. The black color is a pigment called ``Gosu'' that was originally used for painting in Arita ware, and the lapis lazuli is called ``Luri Glaze'', both of which are classic Arita ware colors. Normally, Inoue used the above-mentioned ``glaze drop'' technique, where the brush does not come into direct contact with the vessel, but for the ``gosu'' part, he applied the brush directly to the vessel. This is because Gosu was originally used for painting (the act of drawing), but its bold expression is unique.

The use of multiple colors creates layers, giving each piece movement and depth, and changes in the strength of the brushstrokes and scratches emphasize the "improvisation", "dynamism", and "statement of existence" reminiscent of abstract graffiti art. This work utilizes the materials and techniques of Arita ware, but updates them into a new form.
