This work is based on the theme of "time."

This work, in which a fist sinks into a jar, captures the moment when a character is punched and his cheek becomes hollow. A single-frame image of a stop-motion animation in which the shape of an object changes little by little. The color gradation expresses the continuous flow of time.

This work attempts to semi-permanently capture that moment when time has stopped, through the process of drying and firing, which equals time.
