Normally, a plate is created in terms of its shape and decoration, taking into account the appropriateness of the dish, but this work is a plate (a 5-inch plate) that symbolizes anti-wabi-sabi, which in a sense rejects plating. This work is intended to encourage co-creation between the creator and the user, asking the user's imagination to decide what to put on it and how to decorate it.

Koga treats the plates as canvases, and what he draws on them are only positive words, such as "Get Stand Up," "Stay Gold," and "Silver lining," imitating graffiti. This is Koga's message to the world suffering from the coronavirus pandemic.
The studs that cover the entire piece are punk, and the graffiti is street culture, and these are all captured in the canvas of tableware, which has developed in Japanese culture.
