The Dripping series creates beautiful patterns on beautiful Arita ware white porcelain by lightly, freely, and sometimes shaking a brush soaked in glaze.
As the title of this work, Dripping Sake Ware, suggests, the main color of this work is gray, and it is a one-of-a-kind work entirely made by hand.
Inoue's representative works, which use a technique called ``glaze drop'', do not intentionally control the brush, and express the chance and improvisation that emerges unconsciously.
This piece is a fusion of the spirit of street culture, characterized by its outspokenness and sense of color, and the tradition of Arita ware, which seems to be at the opposite end of the spectrum.
*As all products are made by hand using natural materials, there may be individual differences in pattern, shape, color, size, etc. Thank you for your understanding in advance.
