DESCRIPTION
Glass began to be shaped by human hands roughly 4,500 years ago, but the sand that forms its base has existed since the birth of the Earth, once taking the form of the molten magma that resembles the high-temperature molten glass I work with today. Seen this way, glass must have witnessed the Earth's many landscapes throughout its history. With this thought in mind, and letting the natural movement of the glass guide the making, the vessels of "What Glass Has Seen" literally reflect the many landscapes of nature.
