Scaled Leg

A work from the "Walking" series.
Walking = Movement
People are creatures drawn to bonfires, films, and things that move.
So, by adding legs to my own work, I bring out a sense of humanity and of being a living creature,
It was born through the creation of movement.
The legs of this piece were brushed with pigment mixed into white porcelain-colored clay.
Because white porcelain shrinks more than earthenware, patterns like these scales are formed.

Each piece is delivered in its own paulownia box.
