Tea Bowl, Moon-White Glaze, Flowing, Platinum & Silver Accent

A work that develops "Geppaku-yu Nagashi", the signature style of the 16th-generation Housai. It reinterprets "kirei-sabi" for the present day, creating harmony while contrasting "kirei" (refined beauty) with "sabi" (rustic patina). The vivid blue of the geppaku glaze paired with platinum, and silver on the reverse, brings further brilliance, while the contrast between platinum, which resists tarnishing, and silver, which changes over time, lets the vessel be enjoyed as it ages.
