This bowl has a very good expression of the ``deer back'' which is synonymous with Asahi ware.
The color is clearly different between the left and right sides, which are said to be substituted for one piece, and the scarlet color of the flame is beautiful on the crepe-like crepe-shaped base, which is an interpretation of the Totoya tea bowl from Goryeo that is reminiscent of Asahiyaki.
