Sake Cup, Moon-White Glaze, Flowing, Gold & Silver Accent

A work that develops "Geppaku-yu Nagashi", the signature style of the 16th-generation Housai. It reinterprets "kirei-sabi" for the present day, creating harmony while contrasting "kirei" (refined beauty) with "sabi" (rustic patina). The vivid blue of the geppaku glaze paired with gold and silver decoration brings further brilliance, and the gold and silver themselves change texture over time, letting "kirei" and "sabi" coexist. A white slip brings harmony against the primitive clay texture.
